The Vintage ReIssued VVB4SB, harks back to the heady days of the early sixties, a time of mandarin collars, coffee bars, drainpipe trousers, winklepicker shoes and free spirits which set the musical world alight.

The double bound spruce top, flamed maple hollow body and 22 fret maple set-neck provide the platform for that unmistakably hollow body, ‘60's Britpop tone, brought to life by a pair of custom designed balanced Wilkinson WDB pickups which further augment those unmistakable, deep penetrating, percussive violin bass sonics.

How cool it looks; with period accurate twin pickup configuration, open geared pearloid button tuners, black control knobs on a pearloid control plate with rhythm, bass and treble switches and an aged pearloid pickguard.

This Vintage ReIssued VVB4SB bass delivers weighty low-end frequencies with ease and yet, with this classic hollow body construction hangs featherweight on the strap and super slim, sleek neck, marathon gigs are just not a problem… Play on.
